Flinch Secure Air New Zealand Sponsorship for Island Restoration
Flinch secured a NZ$50,000 sponsorship deal with Air New Zealand to support the inaugural PRISMSS Restoring Island Resilience Awards for NGOs working on the management of invasive species across the Pacific.

The new awards programme is part of Flinch’s ongoing support for the Pacific Regional Invasive Species Management Support Service (PRISMSS) and six nominated NGO’s will each receive NZ$5,000 to support their efforts to manage invasive species. The grand winner will be announced on 18 March 2026 at a special event at the Holiday Inn in Suva, receiving an additional NZ$15,000 to scale up this work.
The PRISMSS Restoring Island Resilience Awards are helping to highlight how these local organisations are working to manage invasive species, restore island ecosystems and improve community livelihoods.
The six nominated NGOs include: NatureFiji-MareqetiViti (Fiji), Niue Ocean Wide Trust (Niue), Samoa Conservation Society / Sosaiete Faasao o Samoa (Samoa), Société d’Ornithologie de Polynésie (SOP Manu – French Polynesia), Te Ipukarea Society (Cook Islands), and Vava’u Environmental Protection Association (Tonga).
