We believe in abundance

Flinch is a world-leading behaviour change consultancy working at the intersection of science, systems thinking, and storytelling.

From climate resilience and invasive species management to disaster preparedness, public health and community wellbeing, Flinch translates evidence into action.

Our approach integrates behavioural science, stakeholder alignment, strategic communications, and creative execution into one cohesive system. We design interventions that operate at multiple levels – ensuring change is embedded, scalable, and sustained.

We partner with governments, multilateral institutions, UN agencies, and mission-driven organisations to solve complex environmental and social challenges – not through awareness alone, but by shifting the behaviours that drive real-world outcomes.

Headquartered in Wellington, New Zealand, our core staff work with our international teams to design and deliver strategic communications and behaviour change programmes around the world. Flinch now employs a global contractor network of more than 100 communications and behaviour change professionals, including project managers, researchers, videographers, presenters and storytellers.
